This Privacy Notice explains how THE ASTROLOGY PRACTICE handles chart data and personal information submitted through this website.
1. Chart Data Is Not Stored
THE ASTROLOGY PRACTICE does not store submitted chart data.
When you use a calculation tool, the data you enter is used transiently to perform the requested calculation and return the result. After the calculation response is generated, the website does not intentionally save that data.
This includes:
- name
- birth date
- birth time
- birthplace
- latitude
- longitude
- timezone
- calculation results
- astrological chart output
The website does not maintain a user account system for storing charts, and it does not save submitted charts to a database.
2. No Chart-data Logging
The website should not intentionally log birth data, names, coordinates, or calculation results.
Chart data should not be sent to analytics, advertising tools, or third-party tracking systems.
Chart data should not be written to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, or persistent browser storage.
If any temporary technical processing occurs during a calculation request, it is used only to return the calculation result.
3. PDF Report Generation
The full calculated reading remains available on the website. A professionally typeset natal or annual profections PDF is offered as a complimentary welcome benefit when you subscribe through the report form. Automated synastry reports are not offered; synastry report enquiries are handled through the contact page.
The PDF includes a rasterized copy of the chart wheel already rendered in your browser, followed by dedicated technical-table pages and interpretation sections. The report is returned directly to your browser as a download.
PDF generation will use a private temporary working directory. The temporary source, log, and PDF files will be deleted immediately after the generation request finishes, whether it succeeds or fails.
Birth data, chart results, and PDF content are not sent to the email or newsletter provider. A separate transactional thank-you email contains only the recipient’s email address and the general report category; the PDF is not attached.
One free automated report is available per email address. To enforce this without retaining the address in the quota store, the website stores a keyed one-way token derived from the normalized email address for the duration of the free-report programme.
No more than three free reports may be requested from one internet connection in a rolling 30-day period. The quota store receives a separate keyed one-way token derived from the IP address, not the raw address, and that token expires after 30 days.
4. Newsletter Consent
The report form is an explicit newsletter subscription. Before submitting, it states: “By subscribing, you agree to receive occasional email newsletters from THE ASTROLOGY PRACTICE. Your welcome report will be available immediately. You can unsubscribe at any time.” Submitting that form records affirmative consent and provides the complimentary welcome PDF.
The floating newsletter form is a separate newsletter-only signup and does not request a report because no calculated chart is attached to that form.
For a newsletter subscriber, Resend will receive only the email address, newsletter topic status, and minimal evidence needed to record consent: the consent time, source, and consent-text version.
Resend will not receive a name, birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates, chart result, or generated PDF for newsletter purposes. Newsletter emails will provide an unsubscribe option.
5. Birth Data Can Be Personally Identifying
Birth data can be personally identifying, especially when combined with a name, birth date, birth time, and birthplace.
Only enter chart data that you are comfortable submitting for a temporary calculation.
If you do not want to enter your real name, you may use initials or a simple label, provided it meets the form’s validation rules.
6. Birthplace Search
The website may include an offline birthplace atlas or place-search feature. This is intended to help select latitude, longitude, and timezone accurately.
Birthplace searches are not intended to be stored.
Selected birthplace data is used to perform the calculation and is not intentionally saved by the website.
7. No Commercial Data Sale
THE ASTROLOGY PRACTICE does not sell submitted chart data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
8. Third-party Infrastructure
The website may be hosted by third-party infrastructure providers. These providers may process technical request information necessary to deliver the website, such as IP address, browser information, request timing, or server logs.
THE ASTROLOGY PRACTICE does not intentionally use these systems to store submitted birth data or calculation results.
9. No Guarantee of Absolute Technical Impossibility
The website is designed so that chart data is not stored. However, no internet service can promise that technical infrastructure is metaphysically incapable of ever processing request data transiently.
The commitment is that THE ASTROLOGY PRACTICE does not intentionally store, sell, or build a database of submitted chart data.
10. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the information you choose to submit.
Do not submit another person’s birth data unless you have permission or a legitimate personal reason to use it respectfully.
11. Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
